ACTS 17:17–22 • MARS HILL PUBLIC ARENA • 100% REAL HUMAN VOICES ONLY

Speaker's Corner: Put Your Hardest Question on the Floor.

Most church websites only let you type polite clichés. Yet in Acts 17, Paul stood in the open marketplace and the Areopagus debating skeptics, philosophers, and hurting men face-to-face. If you disagree, if you are angry at what evil did to your family, if you are sitting beside a hospital bed, or if you walked away from God years ago and finally remembered—step onto the floor below.

"If God Forgave the Criminal on the Cross, Where Is Justice for the Victim?"

"But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive." — Genesis 50:20 (KJV)

This is one of the rawest objections real people carry against God: if a violent criminal can say "Lord, remember me" in his final hour and enter Paradise (Luke 23:43), does that cheat the victim?

Only if this 70-year vapor is all there is—and only if forgiveness were free. Forgiveness cost the Son of God His lifeblood on the middle cross (Romans 3:25–26), and eternity—not this broken earth—is the scale where every tear and wound is answered. Where do you wrestle with this?
