Who Are “The Way”?
Reclaiming the pre-denominational first-century walk of the followers of Jesus Christ.
Before it was an institution, before it was a political voting bloc, before it was a tax-exempt corporation, the followers of Christ were simply known in the Book of Acts as "The Way" (Acts 9:2, Acts 19:9, Acts 24:14).
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” — John 14:6
1. The Original Identity
They were not defined by a building or a celebrity personality. They were defined by a radical, unshakeable allegiance to the risen Christ. They shared their bread, they cared for the sick during plagues when everyone else fled, and they held an unwavering line on truth.
2. Back to the Origin
To walk in "The Way" today is to step outside the hollow performance of cultural religion and embrace the stark, demanding, and glorious reality of the Cross of Jesus Christ.
